A released RAF Police report records that personnel on mobile patrol at RAF Cosford observed two bright circular lights over the airfield at approximately 0115 hours on March 31, 1993. The lights were described as creamy white and travelling southeast at great velocity at an estimated altitude of approximately 1,000 feet. The observers reported no engine noise despite calm conditions. A faint red glow was reportedly visible from the rear as the lights disappeared toward the horizon. The names of the individual RAF Police witnesses are redacted in the released document.
