Type: Photographic Evidence
Source: Photographs by observers in northern Norway, reported by The Barents Observer
The spiral was observed from multiple locations across northern Norway and photographed by local residents. Subsequent reporting connected the display to the failure of a Russian submarine-launched Bulava missile. The spiral is generally explained as sunlight illuminating exhaust and other material from the malfunctioning rocket as it dispersed at high altitude. The photographs are evidence of the visible phenomenon, not proof of an unidentified or extraterrestrial craft.
