A. G. Oberg

A. G. Oberg was a professor of chemical engineering at Texas Technological College and one of Robinson's two colleagues during the August 25 sighting.

Oberg therefore isn't a witness whose account was reconstructed from someone else's story. He was physically present and independently observed the formation alongside Robinson and Ducker.

The three professors reportedly saw the lights cross the sky in only a few seconds and observed a second formation shortly afterward. Their scientific backgrounds were one reason the incident attracted considerable attention. Later accounts consistently identify Oberg, Ducker, and Robinson as the three professors involved in the initial sighting.
