The Place Bonaventure Incident occurred on November 7, 1990, when Line (often referred too as Lynn) Saint-Pierre, the lifeguard at the rooftop pool of the Hotel Bonaventure in Montreal, was the first official witness to report a large, silent, metallic object hovering above the city. After seeing strange lights in the sky, Saint-Pierre alerted hotel security and police, triggering a chain reaction that involved hundreds of witnesses, journalists, the RCMP, and investigators from NASA.

Description: Witnesses described a round, metallic object about 540 meters wide emitting bright white, green, and amber lights in a circular pattern.
