Respected New Mexico police officer who reported a close-range observation of an unusual landed craft and associated physical traces. Lonnie Zamora was a Socorro, New Mexico police sergeant who witnessed one of the most credible UFO incidents in history on April 24, 1964. While pursuing a speeding vehicle, he observed an egg-shaped craft land in a nearby arroyo, where he saw two small humanoid figures in white suits before the object departed with a loud roar and blue flames.
