According to the Magenta recovery narrative, the Fascist government established a secret body called Gabinetto RS/33 to examine an unconventional aircraft allegedly recovered in northern Italy in 1933. Proponents associate the group with Guglielmo Marconi and claim that it investigated the craft and related aerial reports during the following years. The principal public support for this account comes from documents circulated by Italian UFO researchers after their anonymous receipt in the 1990s. CUN has presented the documents as authentic, but the claimed group's existence and its alleged UFO-recovery activities have not been independently established through publicly verifiable Italian government archival records. This record documents the allegation and its provenance rather than treating the alleged program as confirmed history.
