This documentary examines the events of February 25, 1942, when air-raid warnings and reports of unidentified aerial targets over Los Angeles led to an extensive anti-aircraft barrage. It reviews the historical circumstances following the attack on Pearl Harbor, the contemporary newspaper coverage, the military response, and the conflicting explanations offered for the reported targets. The documentary considers the possibility of misidentified weather balloons and other conventional explanations while examining why the incident became a lasting part of UFO history. It provides historical context and analysis rather than new firsthand evidence of an unidentified craft.
